Our mission is to give our community the option to place their children in a Christian oriented, curriculum-centered school. In each activity, we provide a Christian foundation and offer an opportunity for individual, spiritual, physical, mental and social development.
How did Lifeway School Begin?
Lifeway School started out as a 2 day a week Mother's Day Out program in 2015. We began with 5 students and that number quickly grew to 20. The program provided care for infants through 4 year olds. In 2016, our community needed a full time preschool program. We expanded to 5 days a week and added Chapel, Music, and Physical Education. As the Lord blessed with more and more students we were able to grow our school family, adding more teachers and classes. Along the way we were able to serve our community further by adding our After School Program - where we pick up students from the local schools for care until 5:30 pm. In 2021, we launched the Elementary side of LBS, serving Kindergarteners - 5th Grade. In 2022 we added R.A.N.C.H studies and a Robotics course for our students as well as those who want to enroll their child in these programs from the community. God continues to bless LBS and we are always praying about what He has planned for the future.
CORE VALUES
LBS makes a difference in the hearts and lives of children who enter it's doors. We educate them in Godly wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, so that as they grow and develop, they will make choices that are rooted in the truth of scriptures. This all happens while they receive an excellent academic education.
EXCELLENCE
LBS sets high expectations for all students and our faculty helps maximize their growth and individual success by targeting instruction to meet their learning needs. We do this by helping them master essential skills, and by encouraging them to pursue personal levels of excellence. Colossians 3:23 - "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men."
COMMUNITY
We view our educational community as a partnership encompassing families, students, faculty, administration, and Lifeway Church. Because we strive to reflect the love of God, the entire education community of parents, students, faculty and administration is encouraged to apply their God-given gifts to serving each other.
The Crest
Peace, Grace, & Mercy (Wisdom)
This part of the crest is represented by the Holy Spirit. He is to be our guide in everything we do, in our interactions with the community, faculty, parents, and students. Our goal is to have peaceful, grace and mercy-filled relationships with everyone.
God's Holy Word
(Truth)
God's word is the supreme source of what is true, right, and good. It is the ultimate textbook on how to know God and begin a relationship with His Son. Our teachings on biblical, moral, social issues are based on the bible.
Alpha and Omega
(Knowledge)
God the Father is the beginning and end of everything. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge." God is the source of knowledge, and through his kindness and patience, He seeks to teach us about Himself through creation, His word, and ultimately His son.
Jesus Christ – Our Savior (LOVE)
The Son - Jesus Christ is how God revealed himself to us. God gave Him to be the payment for our sins. This is the ultimate expression of Love. Through faith in Jesus Christ and repentance of one's sins, a person can have a relationship with God the Father.
